Family moved to Evans (Jerusalem Corners) when Lucius H. was a child. His son, Birdsey Lucius Maltbie, wrote that he had a great uncle named Jonathan. "Uncle Jonathan lived and died at Evans (Jerusalem Corners). My grandfather had only two children." (Note. This uncle was on the maternal side, as Mr. Maltbie has a double line of Maltby ancestry).
